Vivek Venkataswamy, said that the State government is establishing Advanced Technology Centres (ATCs) across all 119 Assembly constituencies to equip youth with cutting-edge technology, industry-oriented skills and make them future-ready. He performed the bhoomi puja for an ATC at Rudrangi in Rajanna Sircilla district on Tuesday. The centre is being established at an estimated cost of ₹45.15 crore. Government Whip and Vemulawada MLA Aadi Srinivas was present. The Congress government transformed the Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) into ATCs to enhance the employability of youth. The initiative seeks to modernise skill development and create employment opportunities in view of the rapidly changing job market driven by emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Electric Vehicles, Robotics and Drones, he said.
