During the meeting, Mr. Lokesh spoke of the reforms the Andhra Pradesh government was carrying out to promote industrial development, attract investment and create jobs. The government intended to make Andhra Pradesh an industrial and manufacturing hub in the country, he said, adding that construction of the integrated steel plant by ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel near Anakapalli had begun. The plant would make the State a major hub for the steel industry, he said.
